Cavities refer to the tiny holes in teeth that are a
result of tooth decay. It is so happens that carbohydrates (sugar and
starches) laden food like cake, candies, bread, soda etc. get struck to the
denture which later on become a source of survival for bacteria. These
bacterias combine with food debris, acids and saliva to form plaque. Plaque
clings onto tooth and dissolves the outer surface of teeth called, enamel
thus creating holes ;cavities in teeth.
Broken or Fractured Tooth
Broken teeth can be a result of an
accident or injury. The look of a broken tooth can be repaired by adding a
tooth cap over the broken tooth. Though if the broken tooth has rendered any
damage to the gums too (as in case of a pushed up tooth) then it can get
more severe than just the skewed appearance of teeth.
Pain in Gums
Gum paining is a common problem among people who
don't pay much attention towards oral hygiene. This particular problem is
generally found amongst kids and is found in soft tissue area. One should
check for canker sores as it.
Bruxism
Bruxism is a habit wherein a person unconsciously grinds,
clench or gnashes his teeth. At times, people grind their teeth while
sleeping as well this situation is referred as sleep bruxism. Though it
might seem a harmless habit but the fact is that it can eventually end up in
